What did we build?
- A checked calendar. Listings are validated before they appear, and a recurring night shows its next date rather than an undated post.
- Area and venue pages. Canggu, Ubud, Seminyak, Uluwatu and Pererenan each have pages for today and this weekend, and each venue page lists its dated events and weekly nights.
- Guest lists and tickets. A guest-list place needs only a name and an email; tickets are paid by card or QRIS, and hosts follow sales in their dashboard.
- Guides. Planning guides by area and topic, each with a short dated answer at the top and a FAQ, written by BaliEvents Editorial.
How is it built to be found?
Each deploy renders every event, guide and venue page to HTML, so a search engine or an AI assistant reads the same page a visitor sees, without running any JavaScript. A public llms.txt tells assistants which pages are the source of truth, and hub pages exist in Bahasa Indonesia and twelve other languages.
What do hosts pay?
- Free: list events and sell tickets with no commission. The guest pays a 3% service fee at checkout, so the ticket price stays the one the host set.
- Event Boost: nothing upfront; Balievents earns 5% of each ticket sold while it runs, for homepage visibility and search optimization.
- Boost Plus: 10% of each ticket sold, adding an announcement in the Balievents WhatsApp community and an Instagram story.
- Enterprise, on request: social media and email marketing, tech consultancy and CRM integrations.
Where are the venue results?
Not on this page. A case study with a named venue’s bookings will be published only with that venue’s agreement and its own figures. Until then, this page describes what the platform does, not what it did for anyone.
